northern town in the area is Skagen. It is here that the two oceans
Skagerrak and Kattegat meet spectacularly, drawing thousands of people
to the town every year. Skagen is, of corse, also well known for the
historical painters and the special light that surrounds the town and
the local area in the summertime.
Only 16 km from Skagen,
you can visit Europe’s largest migrating dune desert; "Råbjerg
Mile". The dune is almost 1000 m2 and ‘migrates’ up to
15 meters each year. This feature is of great importance to the people
living next to the dune - some of them will receive a ‘visit’
from it in the following years! It has actually been forecast that, in
the future, the dune will block the main road to Skagen.
Hirtshals, you can visit Northern Europe’s biggest aquarium; The
North Sea Oceanarium. The museum has a large ‘Oceanarium’
that consists of thousands of different fish and sharks. If you visit

Between the towns of Aalbæk
and Tversted, you can experience an extraordinary piece of nature at the

town of Løkken is located in the Jammer-bay between the popular
holiday cottage areas of Lønstrup and Blokhus. The town has
year-on-year attracted thousands of tourists from all over the world due
to the combination of fantastic beaches, the variety of art and culture,
and the special atmosphere that exists in the town. With a holiday
cottage in Løkken, you have a very good starting point for
visiting all of the attractions that North Jutland has to offer, and at
the same time you are less than 1 ½ hours drive from Denmark’s
third largest town; Aalborg.
Very nearby Løkken, you
find the family-minded leisure park, ‘Faarup Sommerland’ -
the fifth most visited attraction in Denmark, with more than half a
million visitors annually. The park is located in the middle of a forest
in very beautiful surroundings. Faarup Sommerland offers something for
everyone incl. families with children of all ages. The big water complex

The town of Ulfborg is located in the Midwest of Jutland near Nissum
inlet. Around Ulfborg, you find one of the most attractive holiday home
areas along the Danish west coast. There is a large variety of holiday
cottages in the area for all tastes. Ulfborg is located within easy
reach of nearly all Jutland’s attractions. It is also possible to
make short trips to one of the many beautiful beaches or to areas of
outstanding natural beauty. For longer day trips a visit to either
cities, Aarhus or Aalborg, is recommended.

attractions in Jutland is without doubt ‘Legoland’, situated
only 90 km from Ulfborg. Legoland is an adventure park built of more
than 45 million ‘Lego’ bricks! The park Denmark’s
third most visited attraction and is very popular amongst both adults
and children of all ages.
