This lovely cottage has an open kitchen, two good bedrooms and an additional sleeping arrangement in the living room. A sliding door separates the living area and the open terrace. The house has several, partly covered terraces, where you can choose to enjoy the sun or the gentle breeze. The house is located on the beautiful peninsula Sj. Odde, just 600 metres away from the coast. The Sjællands Odde peninsula lends a special character to the light in the sky. This area was made pretty hilly by the glaciers of the ice age. The peninsula is also an angler's paradise. Havnebyen, the only real fishing port on the peninsula, with boats and a smokehouse, is located not far from the house. Here you can buy freshly smoked fish. If you travel to Gniben, at the very top of the peninsula, you can fish from the beach or enjoy a stroll in the area where the Artillery School of the Army is located. In 15 minutes you can reach the Summerland Zealand, which offers many attractions for children and the young at heart. You can also visit the fairy-tale castle Dragsholm dating back to the 13th century. It houses an excellent gourmet restaurant and is also allegedly home to a ghost! You can also visit the port of Rørvig, where you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, visit the smokehouse which also houses a restaurant and take the ferry to North Zealand. Here you can enjoy smoked fish while your children catch crabs on the pier. You can also go for a leisurely stroll along the streets of Nykøbing Sjælland and its pedestrian area or enjoy a cup of coffee.

Arrival and departure (check-in/check-out)
Check-in is usually between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., but the exact time will be stated on the rental contract, which you will receive from the rental agency when you have completed your booking.
If you arrive after the key pick-up has closed, you will still be able to get your key from a key locker or box. The precise location of this locker will be given in the rental contract.
Check-out must be completed no later than 10 a.m.
Getting your keys
When you have completed your booking, you will receive a rental contract from the rental agency stating an address where you can pick up your key.
The key pick-up is usually the local office of the rental agency, or a nearby petrol station or grocery shop with which the rental agency has an agreement.
Payment is usually made in two instalments.
The first instalment covers 25% of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency within eight days of completing the booking. When you have completed your booking, you will receive an invoice for the first instalment along with the rental contract from the rental agency.
The second instalment covers the rest of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency no later than 42 days before your arrival.
If the booking is made less than 42 days prior to arrival the holiday home provider requires online payment and the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.

Heating oil: Heating with oil does not happen in many houses, and the price will vary from house to house.

Usually the rental agency will not charge any deposit. In special cases, however, a deposit may be charged to cover any major damages.
