Fishermen can choose between various fishing waters in the sea, in the bay, in Glenstrup Lake or in Put and Take Lake as well as in Willestrup or in Øster Hurup Fish Park. In high seas, you can use boats for fishing. You can explore the countryside using the sign-posted paths on foot or by bicycles or on horseback. Explore the wonderful cycling trails situated along the east coast from Skagen in north to Sønderborg in south. This trail runs through the nature reserve of Lille Vildmose. The salt centre in Mariager is an experience for the entire family. You can learn the history of making salt here and take a dip in the warm, salty water, which gives the experience similar to that of a swim in the Dead Sea. Also take a trip to Hobro. The adventure centre of Fyrkat near Hobro dates back to the period of Vikings. North of Hobro provides wonderful experience for hikers or cyclists through Denmark's largest forest called Rold Skov. You can find rich species and diverse trees, lakes, moors and prehistoric monuments. Rebild Bakker is an area on the nature reserve, where you can find flowers bloom late in summer and provide a view similar to a giant purple carpet. Various monuments that represent history are located around Hobro, especially the passage tombs at Snaebum. On the banks of Lake Klejtrup in Verdenskortet, you can find a layout similar to the world map of size 50 x 100 metres. You can travel from continent to continent and visit the structures of lakes, mountains and valleys.

Arrival and departure (check-in/check-out)
Check-in is usually between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., but the exact time will be stated on the rental contract, which you will receive from the rental agency when you have completed your booking.
If you arrive after the key pick-up has closed, you will still be able to get your key from a key locker or box. The precise location of this locker will be given in the rental contract.
Check-out must be completed no later than 10 a.m.
Getting your keys
When you have completed your booking, you will receive a rental contract from the rental agency stating an address where you can pick up your key.
The key pick-up is usually the local office of the rental agency, or a nearby petrol station or grocery shop with which the rental agency has an agreement.
Payment is usually made in two instalments.
The first instalment covers 25% of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency within eight days of completing the booking. When you have completed your booking, you will receive an invoice for the first instalment along with the rental contract from the rental agency.
The second instalment covers the rest of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency no later than 42 days before your arrival.
If the booking is made less than 55 days prior to arrival the holiday home provider requires online payment and the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.

Heating oil: Heating with oil does not happen in many houses, and the price will vary from house to house.
At the end of your stay, this amount will be offset against your actual consumption.
Usually the rental agency will not charge any deposit. In special cases, however, a deposit may be charged to cover any major damages.
