The former Foldingbro Inn is idyllically situated directly beside the Kongeåen River. The river is regarded as one of the most attractive stretches of water in Denmark, as much of its course winds its way through lush, grassy meadows. This river boasts clear water and a rich plant life, and only its most westerly portion, towards Gredstedbro, is regulated. The Kongeåen is truly a fisherman's paradise, and Foldingbro has its own private fishing spot, where you can catch your evening meal without leaving the garden! A trip by canoe is the most obvious way to enjoy the superb scenery from the water. After careful renovation, Foldingbro Inn is today an outstanding example of an idyllic and charming country residence. You will find plenty of activities and recreational opportunities for all the family in the large bright rooms. Numerous outings are possible in this former border country and a visit to Ribe, Denmark's oldest town, is an absolute must. Ground Floor: The centre of the house is taken up by a large dining room which is perfect for large family get-togethers as well as a cosy intimate suppers with friends. The well equipped kitchen and adjoining utility room are ideal for rustling up something special in the kitchen. The pool area is in a league of its own with everything you could possibly need. After a swim in the large pool, you can relax in the jacuzzi, which is large enough to hold 4 people. You could also mix yourself a drink at the bar or try out the sauna and solarium. The area also includes two well placed bathrooms. Afterwards, it might be time for some recreation in the large activity room, either a game of table tennis or a turn on the Playstation. First Floor: The house has 13 bedrooms, 10 of which have double beds, and 5 bathrooms at the disposal of guests staying at the inn. Also for the use of guests is a garden room in the beautiful grounds overlooking the Kongeåen River. It measures 85m2 and is the perfect venue for events such as family parties, company functions or a romantic wedding.

Arrival and departure (check-in/check-out)
Check-in is usually between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., but the exact time will be stated on the rental contract, which you will receive from the rental agency when you have completed your booking.
If you arrive after the key pick-up has closed, you will still be able to get your key from a key locker or box. The precise location of this locker will be given in the rental contract.
Check-out must be completed no later than 10 a.m.
Getting your keys
When you have completed your booking, you will receive a rental contract from the rental agency stating an address where you can pick up your key.
The key pick-up is usually the local office of the rental agency, or a nearby petrol station or grocery shop with which the rental agency has an agreement.
Payment is usually made in two instalments.
The first instalment covers 25% of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency within eight days of completing the booking. When you have completed your booking, you will receive an invoice for the first instalment along with the rental contract from the rental agency.
The second instalment covers the rest of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency no later than 42 days before your arrival.
If the booking is made less than 42 days prior to arrival the holiday home provider requires online payment and the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.

Heating oil: Heating with oil does not happen in many houses, and the price will vary from house to house.

Usually the rental agency will not charge any deposit. In special cases, however, a deposit may be charged to cover any major damages.
