A holiday resort with a carefree atmosphere Located right in the heart of the fantastic resort of Blåvand (literally 'Blue Water'), these attractive holiday homes are constructed in a unique Swedish-inspired style using a variety of attractive, carefully selected colours which give them their own special character. These architect-designed, two-storey wooden houses are located in small terrace cluster in a small 'town within a town' surrounded by a green area and a small stream which bubbles through the neighbourhood. Tasteful Scandinavian quality The interior of the homes are characterised by both luxury and quality, with tasteful, light and simple Scandinavian style décor. With the beach just 900 metres away so you can feel the sea air and gentle spray from the North Sea, these homes have all the ingredients of a perfect holiday. Stunning countryside and magnificent beaches The beaches and countryside around Blåvand are an attraction in themselves. Broad, white sandy beaches and majestic sand dunes stretch along the North Sea coast as far as the eye can see, while Denmark's largest population of red deer populates the region's extensive plantations and woodland. Take a trip out to the peaceful archipelago of Skallingen, which is used as a resting area by many migrating birds. Experience breathtaking sunsets over the North Sea from the beach, the dunes or the town. Or take a refreshing walk along the beach, where good opportunities exist to find amber if conditions are favourable. Often described as one of Denmark's best bathing areas, the south-facing Hvidbjerg Beach combines all the advantages of the North Sea with the fact that it is extremely child friendly. Hvidbjerg Beach is located in the natural shelter of Horns Reef, which lies approximately 12 km out into the ocean and forms the foundation for the world's largest wind turbine park. Also well worth a visit is the 39 metre high Blåvandshuk Lighthouse which lies at Denmark's most westerly point. From the lighthouse, there is a fantastic view over the North Sea, Blåvand and the attractive and distinctive countryside. A holiday in Blåvand offers a wealth of exciting activities and opportunities for outings. Come rain or shine, you will never be short of something to do. Ideal conditions exist for golf, hang gliding, fishing, riding, bowling, beach volleyball, hiking, cycling, and much more. Also in Blåvand there is a subtropical bathing park and an activity centre offering tennis, squash, badminton, table tennis and a gym. For the children, a visit to Blåvand Mini Zoo is a sure to hit, as is a visit to the local candle workshop or discovering how candy is made. You will also have the chance to visit many other small craftsmen's workshops where ceramics, glass blowing and amber polishing are all practiced. The resort of Blåvand itself offers a family-friendly atmosphere and good shopping opportunities, including plenty of boutiques which remain open all year round, many good restaurants and cosy cafes. Other local attractions include the old cathedral town of Ribe, the town of Esbjerg with its Fishing and Maritime Museum and a large harbour, and of course, Legoland, which is only an hour's drive away.

Arrival and departure (check-in/check-out)
Check-in is usually between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., but the exact time will be stated on the rental contract, which you will receive from the rental agency when you have completed your booking.

If you arrive after the key pick-up has closed, you will still be able to get your key from a key locker or box. The precise location of this locker will be given in the rental contract.

Check-out must be completed no later than 10 a.m.

Getting your keys
When you have completed your booking, you will receive a rental contract from the rental agency stating an address where you can pick up your key.

The key pick-up is usually the local office of the rental agency, or a nearby petrol station or grocery shop with which the rental agency has an agreement.

Payment terms
Payment is usually made in two instalments.

The first instalment covers 25% of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency within eight days of completing the booking. When you have completed your booking, you will receive an invoice for the first instalment along with the rental contract from the rental agency.

The second instalment covers the rest of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency no later than 42 days before your arrival.

If the booking is made less than 42 days prior to arrival the holiday home provider requires online payment and the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.

Heating oil: Heating with oil does not happen in many houses, and the price will vary from house to house.
