Holiday home for 28 people with a fascinating history, in quiet surroundings 7 km from Faaborg. The property is located next to open fields and close to the forest. This property is a former train station. The house is in 2 levels and in the ground floor is the former waiting room converted into a living room with fireplace and a dining room with pantry kitchen. The large hall was where the ticket sales took place but is now furnished with sofas. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, 3 bathrooms, a guest toilet and 4 bedrooms in the ground floor. The 1st floor contains 5 bedrooms. In connection with the entrance area is a terrace with a large barbecue (incl. Gas consumption) and a wood-fired pizza oven. There is an area that can be used for both hockey and streetfootball in the garden. Hockey Equipment is available in the house. In the summertime, the veteran train comes by of the old, disused railway between Assens and Faaborg. You can get on the train right outside the house and get a truly unique holiday experience.

The area

The idyllic harbour town Fåborg is not far away from the area with nice shops, cultural sights, restaurants and an indoor swimming-pool. South Funen is known for its very special and hilly nature with Svanninge Bakker, the so-called Funish Alps, and the beautiful and unique archipelago. Take a day trip to the islands of Lyø, Avernakø or Ærø. The ferry leaves daily from the harbour in Faaborg. Egeskov Castle, which is one of Funen's largest attractions, is also worth a visit as well as Odense, Funen's largest town, with many sights and attractions.

Arrival and departure (check-in/check-out)
Check-in is usually between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., and check-out is no later than 10 a.m. The exact time will be stated on the rental contract, which you will receive from the rental agency when you have completed your booking.

If you expect to arrive very late or on another day than the one specified in the booking form, please notify the rental agency well ahead of your arrival in order to arrange a key pick-up.

Getting your keys
When you have completed your booking, you will receive a rental contract from the rental agency stating an address where you can pick up your key.

The key pick-up is usually the local office of the rental agency.

Payment terms
Payment is usually made in two instalments.

When you have completed your booking, you will receive an invoice for 25% of the rental amount along with the rental contract from the rental agency.

The second instalment covers the rest of the total rental amount, and payment must be received by the rental agency no later than 60 days before the start of the rental period.

If the booking is made less than 60 days before the start of the rental period, you will receive an invoice due immediately for the full rental amount along with the contract from the rental agency.

Electricity charges
The cost per kWh may vary depending on facilities and location in Denmark. Electricity charges must be settled before departure.

The rental agency will charge you a deposit in addition to the rental amount. The deposit depends on the facilities of the holiday home. The deposit will be refunded no later than two weeks after your departure provided that the rental agency's inspection of the holiday home proved satisfactory.
