The brick house is covered with wood exterior, providing good acoustics and a good indoor climate year round.
The decor is light and flavourful.
The kitchen is open to the living room where the wood-burning stove can be enjoyed from the dining and sofa area.
The house has 2 large bedrooms and a smaller room with two single beds.
The bathroom has underfloor heating, sauna and whirlpool.
Guest toilet, located in connection to one of the bedrooms, has shower and underfloor heating and constitutes a genuine adult department.
The decor is light and bright.
The design of the has focus on the incoming light, and the result has been large windows facing south and west, making living rooms exceptionally bright and appealing and very comfortable to stay in.
The covered terrace can be accessed directly from the living room, and, of course, invites to outdoor life like sunbathing, fun around the grill or just plain relaxation.
The plot lies undisturbed by the other traffic in the area.
There are sandpit and swing set with slide.
Holiday area at Tranum Strand with shared facilities
With a few kilometres to the sea and beach, a scenic area ideal for hiking and in beautiful surroundings, a cottage area at Tranum Strand was founded in 2009.
The area is designed for modern, busy families who want peace and quiet of the holiday, but at the same time would like to have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors when the weather and the desire is to it.
The holiday cottages in the area are almost all equipped with whirlpool, sauna, satellite TV with German channels and a modern interior in high quality.
Each house stands on its own plot and access to the houses is via the small connector roads minimising driving in the area.
The large common area in the middle of the area has the following activities, free of charge for all the guests in the area:
Football golf with 9 holes
Hiking and cycling trails which crossing the area
Krolf arc with croquet holes (can also be used for mini golf)
7x7 m pavilion with barbecue hut
Orchard with 150 fruit trees
Swings, play tower, slide, playhouse, balance beam, spider net, seesaw
When the weather is for trips to the beach, Tranum has a lovely sandy beach with clean water that receives EU quality label 'Blue Flag' year after year. From the parking lot to the water's edge there is a ramp so that wheelchair users also have easy access to the sea.
Starting at Tranum Strand there is a relatively short distance to many of North Jutland's famous tourist places like Fårup Summerland, Blokhus, Aalborg Zoo, Aalborg Tower, Klitmøller windsurfer paradise, Bulbjerg's steep cliffs and the North Sea Science Park in Hirtshals. Do not forget to take a walk along the sea and buy a freshly caught fish directly from the cutter - there is still inshore fishing in the area.

Arrival and departure (check-in/check-out)
Check-in is usually after 4 p.m., and check-out is no later than 10 a.m.
If you expect to arrive very late or on another day than the one specified in the booking form, please notify the rental agency well ahead of your arrival in order to arrange a key pick-up.
Getting your keys
When you have completed your booking, you will receive a rental contract from the rental agency stating an address where you can pick up your key.
The key pick-up is usually the local office of the rental agency, or a nearby petrol station or grocery shop with which the rental agency has an agreement.
Payment is usually made in two instalments.
When you have completed your booking, you will receive an invoice for 25% of the rental amount along with the rental contract from the rental agency. The first instalment is due 10 days after booking date.
The second instalment covers the rest of the total rental amount and payment must be received by the rental agency no later than six weeks before your arrival.
If the booking is made less than 55 days before your arrival, you will receive an invoice for the full rental amount along with the contract from the rental agency. Payment is due on the booking date.
The rental fee does not include a cancellation insurance allowing you to cancel your stay in compliance with current cancellation terms.
Electricity charges 2017
The cost per kWh is DKK 2,80 ~ 0,38€.
Water charges 2017
The cost per m3 is between DKK 45 and DKK 85 depending on facilities and location in Denmark.
No deposit in standard houses. Only deposit in Skanlux holiday homes with Swimmingpool - DKK 3.000.-
Max. 2 dogs in houses where pets are allowed.
