This region's splendid countryside provides the framework for plenty of outdoor activities, including walking and cycling trips in the forest, a cruise on the boat "Hjejlen", a canoe trip on the Gudenåen River, or a relaxing day trip to one of the area's many lakes. The town of Silkeborg provides plenty of opportunities for active family outings, with its wealth of museums, galleries, events and other amusements. For those who enjoy fishing, the region's many rivers and lakes offer plenty of good opportunities to land a catch, and the Gudenåen River is located just 300 metres from the holiday home. An outdoor swimming pool and children's pool offering free admission to holiday home guests can be found nearby (open May-August).
