Rømø is an ideal destination for the whole family, and your vacation will truly start as soon as you cross the causeway connecting this fascinating island with the Danish mainland. Rømø's west coast is home to one of Europe's best beaches, and here it is legal to drive a car right to the water's edge. Rømø also offers a wealth of activity opportunities all year round, including an annual kite festival, which always provides plenty of excitement for adults and kids alike. In addition, Romø is just a short sailing trip from the German island of Sylt, home to Europe's largest shifting dune.
